" BPOSITIVE "

- P.Natarajan.

A positive attitude needs to be developed from the young age and it is equally important to pursue it with active interest for moving forward. Goal setting is essential to focus our energy and devise ways and means to achieve them.

Commitment is a generic word for being responsible and it can be classified broadly into three groups namely intellectual, emotional and financial.

A Scientist for example pursues his intellectual commitment in the research & development activities and explores means for new invention.

The emotional aspects get portrayed, say, in epics like Srimad Ramayana or Mahabharata. Sugriva and Hanuman shows commitment in friendship to SriRama and put in their best efforts to find Sita, cross the ocean and join hands with SriRama in destroying the enemy camp. The moral and spiritual commitments to the cause is displayed brilliantly here. Karna never wavered from his set mind and remained loyal to Duryodhana, even after the plea by Kunti who brought the revelation of Karna's relationship to Pandavas. One does not change one's stance to changed circumstances. A word of honor once given, there is no going back.

The financial goals need to be achieved for a business organization to remain in business and prosper. The Management can not afford to lag behind the financial commitments lest they should loose the competitive edge in the area of their business.

There are four kinds of people, those who make things happen, those who watch things to happen, those who wonder what has happened and those who do not know anything has happened. So in pursuit of excellence there is one and only mantra, that is "YOU CAN DO IT ". Any fear in this process could be termed as an illusion. It must be believed that nothing is standing in the way. Gifted are those who get to realize at very young age that in many things in life, less is more. Blessed are those who have an intelligence and good sense to seek to escape the celebrity path. Lucky are those who realize and reflect that life's greatest pleasures are simple ones.

Sometime we are caught up in who is right and who is wrong forgetting what is right or wrong. We must be sportive enough to believe that everything happens for a cause or reason. Friends, colleagues or relatives are like balloons, once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we never realize the truth till it is very late. Still better late than never. Your mind is like a parachute, it functions only when open. Have an open mind which will help in not getting into prejudices.

The law of average dictates that even after we put in 100 percent dedication and commitment, things go wrong. Believe that God has something greater for you and that is why this has happened. - pn

Hello Sir,

It is very nice. I especially like the quiz.

Even in the quiz, I liked that the river is rich as on both sides of it are Banks.

Thanks
